Founder Kevin “KP” Paul grew up in an Irish neighborhood in Detroit. His father was a recreational home brewer and sparked his lifelong passion for beer and his Irish heritage. Beginning in 1993, KP and his wife, Lainie – also a beer enthusiast – started dreaming of owning their own brewery and corner-style pub. They visited breweries around the world and immersed themselves in different beer styles, brewing techniques, brewery ambiance, and even building architecture. In January 2008, Kevin and Lainie realized their dream of starting a pub and opened the doors of The Brockway Public House in Carmel. No grand opening, no press conference, just unlocking the doors to the faithful fans that watched the construction of what became the first Dublin-Industrial Pub in the states. The Brockway features a sophisticated draft beer system, a great selection of beers from local and international breweries, live music and you can always catch the latest futbol match.
Daredevil Brewing Co is a locally owned brewery & taproom located in the Speedway neighborhood of Indianapolis. We offer 24 taps with a selection of our year round beers and new and rotating beers that we usually only offer only at our taproom. The taproom menu focuses on options that pair with our beers and are sourced from local companies as much as possible. Our daily menu includes a Soup of the Day, Cheese and Meat boards and rotating Artisan Sandwiches and Salads. In addition guests may bring food in or order delivery from local restaurants.

Sahm’s Restaurants, Big Lug Canteen, and Half Liter BBQ are pivoting our businesses to become a Food and Provision Marketplace to help feed the people in our communities at grocer like prices. This will include a HAACP plan for a touchless carryout process, and a menu that encourages our customers to order for the whole week, making only one trip in order to avoid as much contact as possible. Our main goal is to encourage everyone to stay home and help us flatten the long term impact this virus will have on our neighbors.
Taxman Brewing Company is the culmination of a passion for beer, food, travel and friendship, alongside a desire to be actively involved in our local community. In 2014, we left our corporate jobs to embark on a journey to share our love for Belgian-style beers and sustainable food with others. At The Tap, great beer is what we do best. Each day you’ll find the best beer selection in Indianapolis, with 90 hand-selected brews on tap, and our draft menu changes every day. Our brewery offers 20 original beers on tap to choose from. Enjoy a pint of our brewer’s best work, or grab a growler of one of our unique small-batch beers to-go. In addition to our beers on tap, we have over 400 bottled beers to choose from, featuring a wide variety of craft and import styles from breweries around the world.
Upland College Ave. is a neighborhood beer bar & eatery with a carefully-crafted menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, plenty of plant-based options and a kids menu. Enjoy sour ale taps, cocktails, and Upland classics like our Dragonfly IPA and seasonals.
Our 10 draft lines showcase our year-round beers, our rotating seasonal selections, and our brewers’ pilot beers, the Side Trail Series. 12- and 16-oz glasses, 64-oz pitchers, and beer samplers are available daily for in-house consumption, and growlers and other carryout beer can be purchased every day excluding Sunday.
Our menu changes seasonally and utilizes local ingredients whenever possible. Vegetarians (and delightedly surprised omnivores) rejoice when they discover the deliciousness of our homemade Southwestern Style Tofu and our Seitan Tenderloin Sandwich, recently named Best Vegetarian Sandwich In Indy by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine. Meat-eaters swoon over our Farm-To-Table Steak, our beef and buffalo burger options, and our refusal to ever cut corners where bacon is concerned.
